Supporting Dignity, Sharing Care
With 12 Atlassian volunteers, 36 members of the Latin American migrant community received health and hygiene resources that carried not just essentials, but also compassion and belonging.
The Essence
This initiative was about dignity, care, and supporting people far from home with both essentials and empathy.
In partnership with the League of Latin American Migrants Australia (LLAMA), Atlassian Global volunteers assembled and shared health and hygiene resources for 36 individuals. The effort provided more than supplies, it created a sense of inclusion and community for those navigating new challenges.
Problem
Migrants and people facing hardship often struggle with limited access to basic hygiene essentials. This not only impacts their physical well-being but can also affect their sense of dignity and belonging in a new community.
Solution
12 Atlassian volunteers came together to prepare health and hygiene resources for the Latin American community supported by LLAMA. Each package carried the essentials needed for daily life, as well as a powerful message of solidarity and care.
