It examines workforce participation, program effectiveness, and the strategies associated with higher employee engagement.
Key Highlights
- Median workforce participation reached 25.6% in 2026 across the 240 companies analyzed in the report
- Participation grew from 22.0% in 2024 to 28.6% in 2026 among the 76 companies that consistently reported data across the VQ 2024–VQ 2026 period
- Workforce participation recorded a strong CAGR of 19.7% across those 76 companies over the three-year period
- The Financial Services sector led participation with a median rate of 36.4%, followed by Healthcare (28.7%) and Technology (27.6%)
- Smaller organizations saw the highest engagement, with companies having fewer than 5,000 employees recording 48% participation, compared with 33.9% among mid-sized companies (5,000–10,000 employees)
- The median volunteering time recorded across companies was 6.2 hours per employee
