Goodera Appoints Sumit Agarwal As CFO
Goodera has appointed Sumit Agarwal as its new Chief Financial Officer to drive global expansion and strategic growth. With over 20 years of experience in technology, fintech, and e-commerce, Agarwal brings strong financial expertise to the leadership team. The move underscores Goodera’s mission to scale its corporate volunteering impact worldwide.

To support its next phase of expansion and strengthen its leadership team, Goodera, a global corporate volunteering platform, has appointed Sumit Agarwal as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and Bangalore, Goodera has evolved from a CSR reporting platform into a leading provider of curated in-person, virtual, and hybrid volunteering programmes that connect employees with non-profit needs worldwide.
In addition to managing investor relations, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and strategic growth initiatives, Agarwal will be in charge of Goodera’s global finance department. His hiring demonstrates Goodera’s commitment to expanding its reach and strengthening its base in order to have a lasting influence in the corporate volunteering space.
Agarwal contributes more than two decades of expertise in technology, e-commerce, payments, and fintech. He was the head of TripMoney, the digital financial services vertical of the MakeMyTrip Goibibo Group, prior to joining Goodera. He had also held leadership positions at Wipro Technologies and CFO positions at Zovi.com and NGPAY. “Sumit’s expertise in scaling high-growth companies and his deep financial acumen make him an invaluable addition to our leadership team. His leadership will be instrumental in strengthening our financial and strategic roadmap as Goodera seeks to make volunteering accessible to every employee globally,” said Abhishek Humbad, Founder and CEO, Goodera.
