With IBM volunteers assembling school resources, 100 underprivileged students at Talbeya school received essentials that brought comfort, encouragement, and support for their learning journey.
The Essence
For underprivileged students, having access to basic school resources can make the difference between struggling and thriving. IBM volunteers came together with Educate Me Foundation to assemble comfort packs filled with the essentials young learners need to feel supported and motivated at school.
Problem
Many children in Talbeya face barriers to education, not just from limited access to quality resources but also from the lack of small comforts that foster dignity and self-confidence. Without these, their school experience can feel incomplete and discouraging.
Solution
Through Educate Me Foundation, 44 IBM volunteers created and distributed comfort packs for 100 students. These thoughtfully assembled resources provided both practical tools and a reminder that their education and well-being matter.
